I began having sessions with Venetia in 2021 to  work through a variety of issue areas impacting my personal and professional life. These ranged from conflict management and resolution to power imbalances in relationships to setting and upholding boundaries. Through our sessions, we also dissected topics around identity and values, guilt and shame, regret, and the importance of investing into one’s own energy and wellbeing. As a senior leader working in a high pressured multicultural environment, and as a person who has a de-facto tendency to people please, coupled with certain past traumas that made conflict and boundaries very uncomfortable for me; the work I’ve done – and continue to do with Venetia – has helped me grow immensely in both my professional and personal relationships. As well as my relationship with myself. Venetia’s approach is pragmatic and actionable, with clear tasks to do and tools to implement. Her experience in corporate coaching also helps me be seen, heard, and coached with a sensitivity to all the facets of my life.
